This service was an absolute lifesaver! My grandmother was exhibiting symptoms of Alzheimer’s, which had sent me into a panic; I was really her only caregiver, but I am not a trained professional, and I work full time. I had nowhere to turn, had no idea about services available to me, and unfortunately, the more I read about the pricing of memory care facilities, the more and more the situation felt hopeless.

I was given information on many different places to call, one of them being Assisted Living Connections. Straight away, Kelila was kind and patient enough to explain what they did, and she got right on it! The very day I called her, I got an email and a call from someone who owned a board and care, and that ended up being the home we moved my grandmother into! I cannot explain how monumental the peace of mind I’ve been given is. I was worried about my grandmother’s future with me unable to adequately take care of her, watching her decline, and the sheer hopelessness of the situation altogether was too much for me.

Now, however, I can rest easy, knowing that my grandmother is being taken care of by true professionals, all in a warm and loving home that was able to accommodate our tight budget, and I could not have even FOUND this place were it not for the terrific team at Assisted Living Connections! If you find yourself in a similar situation as me, call this company, and get the help you need! 5/5 stars is truly not a high enough rating, I would give 10/5 stars if it were possible!

The 5 Star rating means, Woohoo! As good as it gets!  And that is an apt description of the kind of care, attention, and support you will get from Tami and her partner.  

New Year’s day 2020, I was sitting at my computer having, what felt like, a panic heart attack regarding what I was going to do to take of my mom at this new juncture in her life. My husband and I knew that her dementia had reached a level where we were no longer able to cope with her daily care.

Surfing the web I came across “Assisted Living Connections” and I put in a call for help.  Within the hour I received a personal call back from Tami.  Wow.  With her quick reassurance and calm, knowledgeable demeanor, I felt my blood pressure drop back into the normal range and for the first time in months, felt like there was now hope for a positive resolution for us all.  

Tami’s recommendations were spot on, easily executed, and seamless, and we ended up with the perfect place for my mother. Mom has been at her board and care home now for several months and she couldn’t be happier.  

I highly recommend Assisted Living Connections for anyone and especially for those of you sitting at your computer right now thinking that you are all alone in this daunting and emotional search for your loved one.

Tammi has been nothing short of a miracle for me.   I don’t know what I would have done if I hadn’t found her.  My mother broke her hip and was in skilled nursing, she also had dementia that was progressing rapidly.  I am the only child and the only family member my mother has.  It fell on me alone to navigate a world I knew nothing about and to do it while I was at my most vulnerable.  

Tammi was not only a resource of the many different options available, but also an amazing emotional support.  Out of nowhere I had a friend who understood what I was going through when even my husband couldn’t really understand.  I looked at ten different places and the last place I looked at was perfect.   I don’t have the words to say how grateful I am for Tammi’s help.

You need to call Assisted Living Connections!!  Kelila Heller is really great, it doesn’t cost you anything, she is excellent at what she does, really knowledgeable about the health care system, and takes the time to talk with you and she hears what you are saying, and what your needs are.

I’m starting the process of looking for an assisted living place for my father and have no idea about any of it, also we are on a pretty tight budget, and just had so many questions, there are so many details and “ins and outs” of the system.  I am still looking for the right place for my father, but now I can sleep at night knowing I have Assisted Living Connection on my team.

It’s a good thing, call them!! ( I’m not friend or family, just glad I found them).
